Picnic at the Park, Welcome Back Guerreras!

Today our Guerreras had a fun-filled day! At every event, and as part of our curriculum, Guerreras focuses on team-building activities to build trust with one another. Another component of our events is motivating our girls to think about their present life and how they will impact their future.

Community service is another pillar for Guerreras, and today's focus was Assembling Care Bags for Foster Youth. Guerrera Leadership reached out to our community, family, and friends for donations, and they amazingly exceeded our expectations. Today our Guerreras created these care bags, filled them with essentials, and added a motivational message for each girl who will be receiving them.
